We will be travelling on 60% dirt roads on our trip, in some very remote areas of Australia. Road conditions can change very quickly without warning. It is advisable to have your vehicle (4WD)checked by a mechanic before you leave as we want all teams and their vehicles to return safely from our trek. Here are some useful tips for you. - The vehicle must be of standard height or higher
- Fitted with a UHF radio or handheld 5 watt UHF
- Spare fan belts and hoses
- It is highly recommended to have top NRMA cover
- 10 litres of good drinking water
- If towing a trailer, it is recommend to have spare bearings and a spring
- A good spare tyre with air
- A good First Aid Kit
- Torch
- Vehicle service and check
- Team name on your vehicle
