Meet the team.....

Peter has been involved in fundraising for the past 9 years and always with Karen by his side. “It gives us great pleasure knowing that we are making a difference to people’s lives” Peter said.
Peter has been the Manager for Sunnybrand chickens Hatchery for the past 15 years and said that he has enjoyed every minute of it. I have 28 staff and we are hatching over 18,000,000 chicks every year.
The highlights of my life would be my 5 children and holding the record for the fastest trip ever by 4WD over this great country. From Byron Bay to Steep Point and returning in only 6 days. www.4wdcoasttocoast.com.au
Hi my name is Karen. I am a nurse based in Lismore, and I always enjoy the fundraising challengers that Pete and I get involved with. Over the past 9 years I have been involved with Kidney Health Australia, Angel Flight, Rural fire Service, OURKIDS and many smaller groups. Whether it’s helping people in the hospital or doing adventurous fundraising activities, there is always a feeling of achievement for me.

Stuart Auld is a partner in, and the Managing Director of UltraFast Communications Solutions, proud sponsors of Trek Quest. Stuart lived in Lismore for 10 years before moving to Brisbane. He lives with his wife Pam, in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. When he was approached to be a part of this fundraising venture, the answer was easy. "Both my children were born in Lismore Base Hospital. I'd love to be involved in raising funds for Our Kids. When do we leave?", he said. Stuart was part of the team that completed a dual crossing of Australia in record time by 4WD in 2005. Check out www.4wdcoasttocoast.com.au |

Ben Graydon is part of the Support Team. Ben has a wife Bronwen and a son, Eric. He's a Facility Manager for Southern Cross University in Lismore. Ben's been riding for over 20 years and loves bikes. Having grown up in Lismore and now with a child as well, Ben was thrilled to be a part of the fundraising team. "One day, it might be my child needing specialist care in Lismore and I can't think of a better reason than that to be involved in something as important as this", Ben said.
Bronwen works at Southern Cross University in Lismore and is also part of the support team.
“It’s fantastic to be heading off with the family for outback adventures with TREKQUEST, and to be able to raise funds for OURKIDS along the way makes it even more special” .
The Graydon’s has been involved for many years in raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Being a local family, they can appreciate the difference that the donations can make to other families living in the area. By supporting TREKQUEST, their son Eric can also get involved, having travelled on each adventure since he was 2 years old.
